Chris Brown unveils “She Ain’t You” Music Video

Finally achieve the success that he deserves, Chris Brown is giving the green light to release his next single “She Ain’t You”, off of his fourth studio album, “F.A.M.E”. The song has so far peaked at #83 on the Billboard Hot 100 and #13 on the Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop songs.

It would have only been expected that he tribute Michael Jackson in this music video. The fedora hat and the dancing screamed MJ, but that’s a good thing. I really enjoyed the simplicity of the video and I’m glad that the director didn’t go overboard with any special effects. The video actually kind of represented a Michael Jackson Wii game, if I must say so.

You actually see Chris Brown hovering in the air at the beginning of the video before finally coming down to Earth, followed by lighting backgrounds in a room and bubbly lights and butterflies flying around after the chorus, almost to represent the fantasy childlike nature of Michael Jackson. I even saw some Ne-yo “Closer” aspects and choreography after the second verse of the song.

This video actually reminded me of Michael and what a great loss the world experienced. I’m still affected by it, even thou I never even knew him personally, yet his music made it feel as if he were talking through it to us.

Anyway, “F.A.M.E.” is out now. You can buy the album and the single over at Amazon.

Chris Brown triumphs with “Gold“ certification

After finally paying his dues and recklessly attacking fans to go out and buy his album, Chris Brown has finally seen his first Gold album since “Exclusive” was released. The album nabbed the certification in only 3 weeks for 500,000 shipped copies and has sold 413,334 copies so far. The singer is busy with his "F.A.M.E" Australian tour so he should be very grateful when he is confronted with the news.

After all the mixtapes, hit singles and the Michael Jackson tribute performance that saved his career, it does not surprise anyone that he would succeed the way he is right now. Although the album had some mishaps, it was still a substantial album inundated with many more hit singles ready to combust the charts. All he needs to do is create his own sound, but we know he followed the dance-pop trend to get his career back in shape so now hassles.

Let’s hope that he has learnt his lesson about the menacing media and will stay a good boy. For now, welcome back Chris!

Chris Brown ready to release “She Ain’t You”, Cover revealed

Now that the world has finally forgiven Chris Brown, he is finally ready to move onto single number three. The next single is slated to be “She Ain’t You”, one of the better tracks off of his number one album, “F.A.M.E”. The song has since peaked at number thirty-two on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip Hop songs chart since being released last month.

The song samples one of my favourite Michael Jackson tracks “Human Nature”. At first I was scared that it would be a horrible song since modern songs containing samples could end up horrible, yet upon hearing this song I was proven wrong. Instead of rehashing the same tired-sample, the track has been given a makeover and is accompanied by an old-school backdrop and still has a modern sound to it.

Chris also tweeted that he shot a music video this week for the film, directed by newcomer Colin Tilley who has created fantastic videos so far. "I hope y'all like treading waters! It's a song from fortune album!" Chris  wrote in a series of tweets. "Just wrapped the video! #superepic can't wait! 'she ain't you'."

You can listen to the song below and let me know what you think.
