Sporting a blonde wig similar to Lana’s hair and a lacy white top, the “Bridesmaids” star cleverly defended the tooty-lipped star, responding to the harsh criticism that Lana endured over her “Saturday Night Live” performance.

Bon Iver Perform "Holocene" And "Beth/Rest" On Saturday Night Live

Bon Iver graced the musical stage on "Saturday Night Live" last night to perform their Grammy-nominated song “Holocene” as well as “Beth/Rest”, both songs appearing on their self-titled album.

I really loved their album and hope that they receive a Grammy for their art. We all know the beef surrounding Bon Iver and The Grammy Commitee, which could be the reason that they were not scheduled to perform.

Lana Del Rey Tries Her Best On SNL

Lana Del Rey is one of the most-hyped up artists that we have experienced in years. In a span of 6 months, the much buzzed about indie princess has gone from being a struggling singer to a magazine staple, covering Billboard, Q, and the prestigious Rolling Stone, something that not even established artists have achieved.

Last night, the singer took the Saturday Night Live stage to finally break into the notorious U.S. market. Her single “Video Games” has already hit the top ten in Belgium, UK, France, and Austria, but didn’t even make a dent in the US charts (it did sell 20,000 copies thou). And I don’t think performances like these are going to help Lana.

While radio continues to plunder our audibility with mundane, generic, electro-pop songs, the world and music heaven longs for the announcement of a new Justin Timberlake album. Sadly, we’ll have to wait much longer. According to PopWrap, he has just been booked to host the May 21 episode of “Saturday Night Live”.

Hoping to be touched by pop royalty and cause nuns to give birth from shock, Lady Gaga will be planning on sparking some controversy before “Born This Way” is released, which is released two days after “SNL”. This shall be a show to watch and will boost her sales. I’m wondering if Gaga will be able to hit first-week sales of 500,000 to 1 million.

This will be Timberlake’s fourth time hosting and Gaga’s second appearance on the late night show since 2009, which is where she performed a snippet of Bad Romance. Let’s hope that her album truly stands as the “greatest album of the decade” as the world quivers in fear of never being given the privilege to receive and listen to another pop classic from Timberlegend.
