Lady Gaga Performs 'Marry The Night' At The MTV European Awards

Lady Gaga took the stage at the MTV EMA’s to display a perform of her new single “Marry The Night”, the fourth single off her multi-platinum album, “Born This Way”.

With a solar set that resembled the props used in Janet Jackson’s “Feedback” video, the megastar gave a great performance of the song. Although there was no elaborated choreography, besides a few hairlicopters, the performance focused more on Gaga’s vocals than her shocking outfits of gimmicks that usually plague the stage.

Lady Gaga Reveals "Born This Way - The Remix" Track Listing

Lady Gaga is getting ready to release a remix album, ‘Born This Way – The Remix’, which will arrive alongside ‘The Collection’.

‘The Collection’ will be released as another label scam (you get the original album, remix album, and ‘Monster Ball Tour’ DVD) in order to feed off Gaga’s success.

Lady Gaga Reveals "You And I" Release Date

Lady Gaga brings out her alter ego on the cover of ‘You and I’, which will premiere on MTV this Thursday, August 18 at 7:30 P.M. EST. The clip will be directed by Haus of Gaga with choreography done by Lauriann Gibson. Following the premiere, Gaga will make a special announcement in New York. No, it’s got nothing to do with her resignation after hearing the news about Kelly Clarkson!

Apparently, this video will be one of her best to date. Personally, I couldn’t care less. We’ve heard this countless times and we’ve always been left disappointed. I was a Lady Gaga fan but her music this era is not doing it for me. Besides a few tracks on the album, I couldn’t make it half-way through “Born This Way”.

Lady Gaga releases new song ‘Marry The Night’

In less than 24 hours, Lady Gaga has premiered another song off of her upcoming album, ‘Born This Way’. The song, which goes by the name of ‘Marry The Night’, premiered on the Facebook game Farmville.

The song falls into the same realm as any 80’s-inspired club song. The song starts off with a melodic synth riff, which is played throughout most of the song, before blowing up into a generic club song. During the bridge, the song’s synths appear to become stronger, however fails to scream ‘single-worthy’.

Although the song might be a bit stronger than its predecessors, the chorus lacks that extra push that could transform it into a dance floor killer. This era has been more disappointing by the minute.

Lady Gaga lets her ‘Hair’ loose on new song

Lady Gaga continues her streak of promotional singles from her upcoming album, ‘Born This Way’. The single is the second promotional single ahead of the album’s release, which is a week from now. The individualism “anthem” features an appearance from Clarence Clemons, who is a longtime saxophonist for Bruce Springsteen’s E Street.

Lady Gaga releases ‘Edge of Glory’. Set to release new track ‘Hair’

The Promotional wheel for Lady Gaga continues, as she has released a promotional single ‘The Edge of Glory’ to iTunes yesterday. The track serves as one of the few promotional tracks leading up to the release of her upcoming album, “Born This Way”.

“The Edge of Glory” serves as one of the better singles, consisting of lightly-layered synths infused with a Kelly Clarkson-style electric guitar and a saxophone breakdown. The single is actually better than “Born This Way” and could have served as a better lead single over “Born This Way”.

Lady Gaga has also decided to strike while the iron is hot, as she announced that a new promotional single, ‘Hair’, will be released to iTunes on May 16. The song was produced by Gaga collaborator RedOne.

Both of these songs serve as one-track previews before the whole album is revealed on May 23. Little Monsters will be able to use the “Complete My Album” option if they purchased the promotional singles, as well as ‘Born This Way’ and ‘Judas’, at a reduced price, while we still wait on that “greatest album of the decade”...

Lady Gaga premieres “Judas” music video

Yes, I know that I am late with this one, but better late than never.

Lady Gaga has finally premiered her new video for the Biblical-inspired single “Judas”. The video was directed by the Lady herself, alongside her choreographer Laurieann Gibson. Starting off with bikers riding along the highway, the video tells the tale of Lady Gaga, playing Mary Magdalene, having a relationship with a modernized Jesus. However, when he finds out about her relations with Judas, she is stoned to death

I actually loved this video! The cinematography looked like it came straight out of ‘The Village’ setting. It was strange, haunting, engaging, and quite intriguing. It also tried to cause controversy, but without being blasphemous. However, my concern with the video is that they focused more on sub par choreography, which I think Gaga nailed, and less on the actual story, which made the storyline a bit complicated to understand. However, a great video was made.

By the way, am I the only one who loves this song and video? I didn’t fall for the hype, so I guess I’m safe to say that I’m anticipating this album.  

Lady Gaga reveals “Born This Way” tracklisting, “Judas” sneak preview

Lady Gaga revealed on Twitter the “Born This Way” tracklisting. The standard edition will contain 14 songs, while the deluxe edition will include 5 more tracks. These tracks are "Born This Way Country Road Version," "Judas DJ White Shadow Remix," "Marry the Night Fernando Garibay Remix," "Scheibe DJ White Shadow Mugler" and "Fashion of His Love Fernando Garibay Remix."

DJ White Shadow, one of the album’s producers, spoke to MTV News about the album. "I don't even know how to explain it. [Born This Way] is not a pop album; it's a pop masterpiece of music. If there was no category of pop music, you wouldn't call it pop music,". He added: "She thinks of sh-- that I can't comprehend," he said. "It doesn't make sense to me, and I'm a creative person. ... Working with her is totally different than anyone else I've ever done anything with. She's the most hands-on person I've ever run into. She could walk into Steve Jobs' office and tell him he's doing Apple wrong, and he'd listen. As a producer, it's super cool to be with somebody who generally cares and is fully involved."

The video for “Judas” will debut on Thursday, 05 May. The long-form video, which was co-directed by Gaga alongside her choreographer, Laurieann Gibson, will premiere on E! at 7:00 pm EST. The biblically-themed visual stars Lady Gaga as Mary Magdalene and Norman Reedus as Judas Iscariot. How interesting…

Let’s hope that people get bored of all of these gimmicks and that she’ll finally choose her talent over gimmicks. I really loved her, but I’m starting to lose interest in her as an artist. I’m hoping the album is just as great as her previous two.

Justin Timberlake and Lady Gaga scheduled for “SNL” Season Finale

While radio continues to plunder our audibility with mundane, generic, electro-pop songs, the world and music heaven longs for the announcement of a new Justin Timberlake album. Sadly, we’ll have to wait much longer. According to PopWrap, he has just been booked to host the May 21 episode of “Saturday Night Live”.

Hoping to be touched by pop royalty and cause nuns to give birth from shock, Lady Gaga will be planning on sparking some controversy before “Born This Way” is released, which is released two days after “SNL”. This shall be a show to watch and will boost her sales. I’m wondering if Gaga will be able to hit first-week sales of 500,000 to 1 million.

This will be Timberlake’s fourth time hosting and Gaga’s second appearance on the late night show since 2009, which is where she performed a snippet of Bad Romance. Let’s hope that her album truly stands as the “greatest album of the decade” as the world quivers in fear of never being given the privilege to receive and listen to another pop classic from Timberlegend.

Lady Gaga: “I am not full of sh!t, are you?”

Riding the hype for Gaga’s new album before it starts to dwindle, Lady Gaga is pasted on the cover of NME magazine. Posing with her Woohoo zipped and plastered with a see-through outfit, the eccentric singer addresses those who label her as a manufactured act.

“Let me tell you something. If you f*ckin’ rip my hairbow and my wig off my f*ckin’ head, my shoes, my bra, every single thing on my body, and you throw me on a piano with a microphone, I will f*ckin make you cry. I’m not going to start churning out what you expect. If you want me to be a manufactured act, you can f*ck off”

Well, if she recycles what other artists already did, then she shouldn’t be surprised that people overlook her talent and will know her as “The Controversy”.

Not only does she address her critics, but compares herself to John Lennon, in a sense that she struggles to feel completely happy with her songs: "I am perpetually unhappy with what I create," she said. "Even though I might tell you that 'Edge Of Glory' is a pop masterpiece, when it's all said and finished there will be things I dread, and every time I listen to it I'll hear them." She also adds: “In John Lennon's [1980] Playboy interview he talked about how he hated certain songs because of the way they were finished. And they might be my favourite songs, but Lennon couldn't listen to them."

We are all not happy with the songs you have written so far for this era Gaga, because we know that you can do better. Oh how I miss the fun and mysterious Gaga…

Lady Gaga unveils “Born This Way” cover and goes Biblical for “Judas"

Lady Gaga turns into a motorcycle for her new album cover for “Born This Way”, which will be released May 23. I actually think I like this cover. It’s completely random and different than what we thought Gaga would do.

Not only has the cover been revealed but the second single “Judas” was released. While it may be better than “Born This Way” it still does not represent this “greatest album of the decade” that Gaga spoke about. I do think I’ll start loving the song after a few listens, but it sounds a bit overproduced. At least Kanye could accumulate great tracks together.

Lady Gaga is talented but when she says these things and does all of these things for attention, then people’s attention stay focused on what her next antics will be and forget about her talents. I'll probably do a review of the song once I listen to it properly, but for now listen to her new single while I wait for delusional Gaga stans to spam my Twitter and blogsite.

Rihanna chains Britney onto the “S&M Rihmix", Fails to excite

Instead of recording an entirely brand new song, someone over at Jive and Def Jam decided to get The Princess of Pop and The Princess of Singles to remix a song to suck our pockets dry. Basically, Britney Spears and Rihanna took the same approach Beyonce and Lady Gaga did with “Video Phone”. We all know how that turned out…

The song was released to z100 radio today and should be released to itunes in oder to give “S&M” the boost it needs to top the chart. The “Rihmix” is not “sicker” than the original, as both of there voices do not mesh well together. Britney sounds as if she caught the flu and adds nothing to the song, just like Lady Gaga. Rihanna, on the other hand, did the original justice, as she sounded sexually-aggressive, just the way it was supposed to be sung.

I know I attacked people and said the song will cure AIDS, but I knew that I was exaggerating. They should have recorded a new song for a “Loud” and “Femme Fatale” re-release. But anyway, check the song out and let me know what you think.

Lady Gaga releases new HBO special trailer

Lady Gaga will be premiering her concert special ‘The Monster Ball Tour at Madison Square Garden’ on HBO on May 7^th.  This will serve as a very clever strategy to promote her second studio album, “Born This Way”, set for a May 23 release. Check it out below:

Pee-stained hair, condom-shaped costumes, blood baths and a whole lot of fun mixed in one show, this special will surely leave “Little Monsters” shaking and crying in their seats. I would advise you not to eat or drink anything while watching it, since you never know what kind of gimmicks Stefani has hidden in her saiyan pod.
