Taylor Swift's "Ours" Smashes Chart, Hits #1

 

Remember that Taylor Swift video for “Ours”? The one that blatantly took a picture of my life at that moment and used it as the plot for her country smash? Yeah, that one that destroyed any chances of your faves’ Kodak-shot music videos receiving any airplay on television.

That video caused the song to finally reach No. 1 on the Billboard Country Charts. It’s Queen Tay Tay’s 6 th No. 1 on the chart and hopefully not the last. “Enchanted” has yet to continue Taylor’s infinite streak of undivided success and dominate airwaves, thus providing peace and serenity within our mundane lives.

Is there any way of stopping this unstoppable beast? At the rate that Taylor’s releasing hit singles, we might receive 3 greatest hit albums next year under our homemade Christmas trees. Can someone say “yay”? Thought so! 

Drake's "Take Care" Video Set To Debut...

Drake and Rihanna really hit a home run with there single “Take Care” which is shaping up to be a huge hit. The sentimental song will undoubtedly remain one of the best songs of 2012 and their careers, just like what “No Air” is to Jordin Sparks’ and Chris Brown’s (I still get my breath knocked out when I play that song. It’s that amazing!).

One Direction Makes History, The Wanted Perform On Jay Leno

Is 2012 the year that we experience an overload of generic teen-pop boy bands which flooded radio in the 90’s? After breaking album sales records, groups such as Backstreet Boys and N’Sync vanished into obscurity faster than their albums flying off shelves, thanks to shrieking tweens who plagued their walls with posters, doing only God knows what with themselves when they were left alone.

It seems like history is about to repeat itself, to some extent. The Wanted (Siva>>>) are experiencing success with their hit single “Glad You Came” which is currently sitting in the top 5 on the Hot 100. Now One Direction makes history with their debut album “Up All Night”, being the first U.K. group to debut at No. 1 thanks to the first-week sales of 176,000 copies.

It has been months since we last saw Mother Bey performing on stage and feeding us life. Beyoncé  must be tired of publicly breastfeeding Blue Ivy because dates for upcoming shows in Atlanta were announced.

After making Billboard history by having the highest debut on the Billboard Hot 100 by a British boyband (No. 28), One Direction are set to conquer America!

While parents witnessed their prepubescent daughters (and some sons) shrieking, wetting their Hello Kitty panties in the process, One Direction gave the girls even more reasons to start loving them thanks to a performance on 'The Today Show'.

Ciara Snapped In Studio With The Underdogs

Ciara is not playing around with her career anymore!  This week, the singer was snapped in studio with Harvey Mason Jr and Damon Thomas, who are apart of the production duo The Underdogs. They currently enjoyed a top 10 hit with Chris Brown’s “Turn Up The Music”, which they produced with Fuego.

The singer is preparing to release her Epic Records debut, a few years after her latest album, Basic Extinct, debuted at a high peak of No. 44! Can she top this by debuting higher? I wouldn’t be surprised if she does.

John Mayer Reveals 'Born and Raised' Release Date

While we were losing our minds to John Mayer’s new classic, “Shadow Days”, John was setting tour dates and his album’s release date.  Is the John Mayer slayage already beginning without any warning?

I’ve been waiting for a new John Mayer album for almost 3 years now so this is the best news since seeing the light and becoming a closet stan of Taylor Swift.

‘Born and Raised’ will be released May 22 while “Shadow Days” hits iTunes on March 6.
