Big Sean lands on the cover of TRUE magazine

Hip-Hop sensation Big Sean lands on the latest cover of TRUE magazine.

The rapper is actually doing well for himself. His debut album "Finally Famous" debuted at #3 on the Billboard 200 with 87,000 copies sold the first week. It has also been critically appreciated, with a score of 69 on Metacritic. His debut single "My Last' featuring Chris Brown peaked at #30 on the Billboard Hot 100, while second single '"Marvin & Chardonnay" featuring Kanye West and Roscoe Dash is climbing up the charts.

Speaking about "Marvin & Chardonnay", MTV's Sway spoke to Big Sean on the set of the video. speaking about how it felt like shooting a video with the now defunct director Hype Williams.

"It's great, it's fun, me and Hype are homeys. He's a real dude and it's tight being around people that you consider legends, and him just being so real," Sean told MTV News' Sway on the "Marvin & Chardonnay" set. "We came up in here and was just blasting DMX and all this different music. He gets inspired creatively from I don't know what; he just has these crazy ideas."

Inspiration for the video derived from classic yellow suits and vintage Versace shades, which I wouldn't be surprised if it ends up looking like a Mase video.

"Colors, the visualization, the whole what G.O.O.D. Music stands for is just that quality. Whatever we do is quality," Sean said. "If we gonna have girls, we gonna have the best girls. If we gonna have yellow suits, it's gonna be the best yellow suit. If we gonna have Versaces, it's gonna be the OG Medusa-head Versace."
