Coldplay Goes To 'Paradise' In New Video

The Mat Whitecross-directed video for Coldplay’s new single Paradise has finally been released.

After “Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall” flopped, Chris and his team rush-released “Paradise” and deemed it the official single. The track appears on their album, “Mylo Xyloto”, which is released today 24 October.

The video follows the journey of a lonely elephant (presumably Chris in an elephant suit) that frees trapped animals in a zoo and escapes police officers, who are too slow to catch the fluffy creature. The elephant is then seen cleverly fitting itself into a bag of luggage in an airplane, which takes off to South Africa. The video ends off with the band wowing the South African audiences with a performance.

PETA staff members are currently poppin’ bottles thanks to no animals being harmed or used inappropriately in the video. I’m sure they have sent that elephant a muffin basket for freeing those animals!

Thanks for giving my country more exposure Coldplay. For that, I gave the album a download. Hey, it’s the thought that counts!
