The Mat Whitecross-directed video
for Coldplay’s new single “Paradise ” has
finally been released.
After “Every Teardrop Is A
Waterfall” flopped, Chris and his team rush-released “Paradise ”
and deemed it the official single. The track appears on their album, “Mylo
Xyloto”, which is released today 24 October.
The video follows the journey of a lonely elephant (presumably Chris in an elephant suit) that frees trapped animals in a zoo and escapes police officers, who are too slow to catch the fluffy creature. The elephant is then seen cleverly fitting itself into a bag of luggage in an airplane, which takes off to
PETA staff members are currently
poppin’ bottles thanks to no animals being harmed or used inappropriately in the video. I’m
sure they have sent that elephant a muffin basket for freeing those animals!
