Drake Featured on 'Saturday Night Live', Performs With Nicki Minaj

Drake finally started promotion for his upcoming album Take Care which has been moved back to November 15th. This gives him enough time to let his new single “Make Me Proud” featuring Nicki Minaj blow up at radio.

The morbid-voiced singer/rapper performed his single “Headlines” as well as the previously mentioned second single “Make Me Proud”. They were both good performances, but Nicki needs to learn how to lip-synch properly and stop screaming over her usually loud backing tracks.

He also took some time to participate in two skits. The first one was an interview of Drake with the hilarious Andy Samberg who used random styles of interviewing including extremely sarcastic, racist, wordless seduction, extremely dark, and a matching sweaters interview. This had me laughing out my lungs and is one of the funniest skits from the usually dull SNL.

The second skit was just as funny as the first one. Drake and cast member Jay Pharoah dressed as two teen werewolves during “Weekend Update”, explaining their eminent behaviour of snatching candy bags from children as they are too old to trick-or-treat. After explaining this behaviour, they perform a song called “Bag Jackin’” which is what they call their deviant behaviour. The rap should be included on the next Lonely Island album because it almost had me in tears, especially with its sexual innuendo.

You see, Drake is one of the most talented artists of our time!
