Emeli Sande Blesses Us With "Next To Me" Performance On BET's "106 & Park"

Emeli Sandé has been one of my favourite artists of the year so far. Her album "Our Version Of Events" is already on my best-of list and will sit there nicely for a while. Now she is ready to conquer the US after debuting at #1 on the UK charts.

This performance just showed that all you need is a guitar and talent. No bells and whistles to distract the audience from any lack of energy or confidence. Emeli showed more charisma and soul in her performance than most could.

The singer also took out time to have a short interview with Rocsi about working on Alicia Keys' new project and being a supporting act for Coldplay. She also spills the beans on her new album that the US can expect.
