Everybody
knows that Alicia Keys took a step closer towards pop music on her
last album “The Element of Freedom” and it was the Prince-inspired
elements that producer Jeff Bhasker added that made the album unique
and one of Alicia’s most appreciated pieces of work (although it didn’t sell as
much as her previous catalogues).
Well
the singer was apparently enjoying
sessions with Bhasker and her longtime partner Kerry ‘Krucial’ Brothers, who
both received major credits for their work on her previous album. I’m
anticipating her new album and if it sounds anything like ‘Try Sleeping With
Broken Heart’ then I’m all for it!
