Rihanna Brings Out Dr. Luke For "You Da One"

After experiencing a record-breaking #1 single with “We Found Love” Rihanna is ready to unleash another smash to the world with “You Da One”.

Produced by super producer Dr. Luke, the Ester Dean-penned track finds Rihanna benevolently putting her lover on a pedestal and expressing how he sends her into a love spiral. It’s reminiscent of those blissful memories of being with that special person that sweeps you off your feet.

The production is another winner, returning Rihanna to her urban-pop and island flavoured sound that mirrors some of the songs on “Rated R”. Just to make sure that pop radio will appreciate the song even more, the infamous Dr.Luke experiments with some dubstep and mixes it into the song’s bridge.

“You Da One” is definitely another winner, although it steer to far away from Rihanna's sound. It's unlike the pop trash songs that you've heard on the radio and shows signs of the edgy Rihanna that we've all grown to love. It's not a song that is going to be shaping any trends in music, but achieves the goal of gaining Rihanna another #1 smash!
