Taylor Swift performs “Mean”, Wins “Entertainer of the Year” at the ACM Awards

America’s Sweetheart Taylor Swift performered her third single “Mean” off her third album, “Speak Now”. This marks the first time that the singer has performed the song, which addresses her critics. The singer was accompanied by a banjo, since the songs is one of the most country sounding songs on her album. She might not be the best singer, but she knows that and this performance was good. What are the haters going to say about that now, huh?

Not only did she perform, but she was also awarded the “Entertainer of the Year” award for the first time in her career, thanks to her huge fan base. In a state of shock and being the sweetheart that she is, Taylor accepted her award and thanked all her fans for their support. “This is the first time that I’ve ever won this and I am losing my mind,” Swift said in her acceptance speech. “The fact that this is from the fans makes it so beautiful…you are the best thing that has ever happened to me, ever! Thank you so much.”
