Teen pop star Jojo shows us how
easily a strong relationship can go sour in a split second in her new video for
“Disaster”. The Benny Boom-clip depicts Jojo having fun with her boyfriend
before things take a turn for the worse. She overcomes her emotions by rocking
out with a live band, similar to her “How To Touch A Girl” video.
That’s it! The video is as exciting
as watching cakes rise in an oven but gets the job done as it perfectly suits
the message of the song.
The song has not exactly set the charts alight, but according to The Propeht Blog, the song was released to radio October 25th and has already received almost as many adds as Katy Perry’s boring single, “The One That Got Away”. I love the song as it presents Jojo with the same sound that she started out with. However, I’m hoping she creates a more modern sound for herself (“Mr. Know It All” and “Teenage Dream”). Trust me – Avril Lavigne knows what I’m talking about.
Watch the video below and let me
know what you think.
