Adam Lambert Returns With "Better Than I know Myself"

It what feels like almost forever since we last heard new music from our second-favourite American Idol Adam Lambert, a brand new single titled “Better Than I Know Myself” has finally premiered.

In today’s day and age of “hot today, gone tomorrow” artists, a sophomore slump is easier to obtain than Nicole Scherzinger getting a hit. Luckily, Adam has teamed up with pop’s most notorious producer and songwriter “Dr. Luke and Claude Kelly.

The xx Leak New Demo "Open Eyes"

Hear a New Demo From The xx
There’s nothing better than receiving a new song from The xx on Christmas! My favourite indie band has leaked a demo “Open Eyes”, which was recorded during the production of their impending sophomore album.

Featuring a sparse consisting of a lonely guitar, the song stays in path with the sound that we found on their debut. I obviously love it, but it’s a demo so I’m hoping that they also try to incorporate different musical elements.

Listen to “Open Eyes” below.

Ke$ha Saves Hip-Hop On "Sleazy 2.0"

It has been a while since we last saw the party starter Ke$ha, who finally sobered up upon hearing that hip-hop heavyweights André 3000, T.I., Lil Wayne and (to a lesser extent) Wiz Khalifa were willing to collaborate with the newly crowned Princess of hip-hop.

The glitter gladiator’s relentless slaying is set to continue with the release of the hood rat anthem “Sleazy”, now titled "Sleazy 2.0: Get Sleazier". This infectious urban pop jam still remains fresh in today’s excuse for hip-hop and shall become 2011’s Christmas carol in every hood possible.

Some people might be disappointed with the lack of the game-changing rapping skills of Ke$ha present, replaced by the rap trio, but that doesn’t distract you from the song’s brassiness and shall leave faux hip-hop heads blasting this single out of their retired mom’s car.

Check out all the action below. “Sleazy 2.0.” is available to buy at iTunes.

Cassie Shows Off New Sexy Look In "King Of Hearts" Preview

Cassie Ventura, also known as Bad Boy’s Rihanna (lol), has finally dug herself from the graveyard and is planning on resurrecting her upcoming music career. The sexy model has released the new trailer for “King Of Hearts” and boy was it worth the wait!

Sporting a modern-Xena look, the princess of Bad Boy seduces us with a new pair of puppies as she prepares to pay back a lover who has left her scorned. The production of this video seems like it was built on a budget bigger than Cassie’s new twins and has all the makings of a  fantastic video.

Diddy better provide all of his flop acts with such a budget as well, unless they refuse to strike his “ego”.

The Queen has also been busy for 3 years on her album “Electro Love”, which will include production credits from Pharell Williams, Jean Batiste, and man of the moment, Rico Love.

Watch and bow before the queen of hearts!

Paramore Displays New Country Sound And Slays On "In The Mourning"

While Paramore fans continue to mourn the departure of The Farro Brothers, Hayley Williams is clearly trying to forget about the incident and uses it to write meaningful records.

Well, in the latest leak, “In The Mourning”, Hayley clearly shows that she wants to put things to rest; however, that is not the only thing that Hayley displays. It seems as if Paramore are taking risks with their sound, opting to infuse country elements into the song. And the results are mind-blowing!

Although the acapella demo leaked in January already, we had to wait until now to hear the song in its final form. Written by Hayley for fun, the song ended up as the last song of their SinglesClub offering.

Saviour Of Music Janelle Monae To Release Two Albums In 2012

Janelle Monae has delivered the best news of the year so far: two album releases in 2012!

The saviour of music has been hard at work on her albums and plans to continue to shape the normally dull world of pop music. The album is “84.799 percent” complete, thus giving us enough time to escape from the impending slayage to take place.

If you haven't listened to her previous album, "The ArchAndroid", then I suggest you do as soon as possible. It will change your worthless life and add meaning to it!

You ready?

Kelly Clarkson Slays "I'll Be Home For Christmas"

Never in my whole entire life have I experienced so many Christmas rush-releases from artists. It’s as if every label executive held a gun to these artists’ heads, threatening to terminate any future obligations.

Luckily, Kelly Clarkson is one of those exceptional artists who will release a great EP and has decided to tease us with her version of “I’ll Be Home For Christmas”. Yes, Kelly effortlessly murders the song, however, not in the same way that Justin Bieber effortlessly effortlessly “All I Want For Christmas Is You”. I’m sure Mariah knew that his selling power is stronger than hers now, thus concocting this plan to embarrass him.

Lana Del Rey Delivers The Goods On "Born To Die", Features In V Magazine

Lana Del Ray V Magazine
Internet sensation Lana Del Rey, real name Elizabeth Grant, has had an exceptional year. After releasing an EP, entitled “Kill Kill”, in 2009 under the name Lizzy Grant, Rey uploaded a song of hers “Video Games” on Youtube in August 2011 to critical and commercial success, reaching number one on charts in 9 countries and receiving over 10 million views.

The sexy singer has now landed in V Magazine’s first-ever Music Issue, further illustrating her ever-growing success. The Lake Placid native is now receiving the recognition that she deserves.
"You talk about all these things that happened to me in this short space of time, but the one thing that has really changed is that I now have an audience," she tells V. "I turn up in Glasgow or Manchester or Amsterdam and there are good people waving at me from the crowd. That’s amazing.”

Video Roundup: The Weeknd, Beyonce, And Jason Derulo

I know that I’ve been acting a fool but I was busy with exams (ended two weeks ago) and then worked as well (ended on Wednesday), so that meant less time blogging. But I didn’t forget to watch a few videos that are sure to entertain you (or not).

Beyonce – “Dance For You”

Firstly, we’ll start with Beyonce’s video for her song “Dance For You”. Just like most of The Dream’s rejected tracks (see Rihanna’s “Do Ya Thang”), “Dance For You” is an example of great mid-tempo song that was neglected and discarded to the bonus track territory, yet having the potential to set the mood for any $2 ho to shake what Dr. 901210 made her.
