Madonna Shows Off A Subtle Look On "Give Me All Your Luvin'" Cover

If people think that Madonna’s predictable tactics of dissing artists (Janet and Lady Gaga as of late) are a platform for the obsolete performer to sustain her relevancy, then the latest batch of news is sure to put a back burner on these speculations.

Madge will firstly appear on 'The Tonight Show' with Jay Leno on January 30 to possibly stir up more controversy. The Megaforce-directed video for “Give Me All Your Luvin’” will incorporate a football and cheerleader theme – a clever theme that represents the impending performance at the Super Bowl. This video will be previewed on 'American Idol', Thursday, February 2, followed by the premiere of the full video the following date coincided with the song’s release.

Frank Ocean Teases Fans With "Voodoo" Snippet

R&B genius Frank Ocean seems to be using a clever marketing strategy by releasing snippets to keep fans’ appetites wet. The latest snippet uploaded onto his Tumblr account goes by the name of “Voodoo”.

I have never camouflaged the fact that I love Frank Ocean. He possesses an intriguing ability to utilize his lyrical talents to form imaginative stories, while employing encrypted meanings and canorous melodies.

Adam Lambert Releases 'Trespassing' Album Cover

Adam Lambert has finally unveiled the album cover of his sophomore album ‘Trespassing’, due March 20. The album is lead by the single “Better Than I Know Myself” and will boast production from Pharell, Dr. Luke, Benny Blanco, and Claude Kelly, making this album one of the most anticipated of the year so far!

Adam’s “For Your Entertainment” had a plethora of dark pop-rock songs blended with operatic elements. The album cover kind of looks like a cover for the “Stuntman” game, which leaves me severely disappointed. However, it’s all about the music and I know Adam won’t fail us!

What do you guys think?

Carrie Underwood Prepares To Slay With New Single "Good Girl"

It seems as if country music will be ruling the charts (Billboard 200) once again this year. With major country queens, such as Shania Twain, Taylor Swift, and Faith Hill releasing new albums this year, will there be enough time for other plastic pop divas to collect their wigs at the dry cleaners?

Another country diva, Carrie Underwood, is making sure that she manages to stand out in the crowd, releasing a tempting single cover for her new single, “Good Girl”, which will hit radio February 23, 2012.

Chairlift Use A Taxi As A Recording Booth In "Ghost Tonight (Black Cab Sessions)" Video

It has been almost four years, which in the pop world is ten year, since Chairlift has released an album. Better known for their single "Bruises", which was featured in an Ipod Nano commercial and gave them with a 2009 MTV Video Music Award nomination for "Breakthrough Video", the duo is ready to release their sophomore album, "Something".

The duo, consisting of Caroline Polachek and Patrick Wimberly since Aaron Pfenning left to create a solo career in Rewards, released a video to the song "Ghost Tonight", which sees the stunning lady displaying her rich vocal talents while Patrick takes the lead in playing his guitar. The dream-pop song is really a stunning piece of work, layered in sheets of 80's pop music mixed with a little synth-pop.

Kid Cudi x Dot Da Genius Release 'WZRD' Tracklisting

G.O.O.D Music artist Kid Cudi revealed the tracklisting for his rock/punk joint album with Dot Da Genius via his Tumblr account.

Any Kid Cudi fan would know that Dot Da Genius has been one of Cudi’s main producers, serving the hotness with his earlier demos and on his mixtape ‘A Kid Called Cudi’, which helped with Cudi's breakthrough into the mainstream and finding a label home.

Adam Lambert Slays "Better Than I Know Myself" On Ellen And David Letterman

Adam Lambert has finally come out of hiding to start promotion for his new amazing single “Better Than I Know Myself” – and what a better way than to start than by performing on Jay Leno and then The Ellen Degeneres Show.

As always, Adam slayed both of his performances and sounded almost better than the actual recording. He is surely addicted to snail slime because Adam is looking radiantly younger than when we last saw him. A case of Benjamin Button? I think so!

Emeli Sandé Keeps It Simple On "Next To Me" Video

Newbie Emeli Sandé takes the simple route in her new video for “Next To Me”, a Motown-inspired track that will surely chart high in the UK.

The video finds Emeli and a drummer playing their instruments in a desolate warehouse in the middle of nowhere. Here and there we see the singer laying on a coach and singing to the camera. A tad dull and boring but any promotion is great promotion.

Azealia Banks Signs With Universal Records

BBC’s Sound of 2012 third-place winner Azealia Banks has erupted over the past few months with her single “212”, which catapulted her into internet stardom and landed her on my artists to watch in 2012 lists.

After treating our taste buds with songs such as “Liquorice” and “NEEDSUMLUV” and collaborating with LGBT’s musical Gods Scissor Sisters, the rapper/singer/lyricist is ready to snatch wigs and take her career to the next level.

Katy Perry Wants Those Sympathy Sales With "The One That Got Away" Acoustic

Katy-Perry-The-One-That-Got-Away-Acoustic-Download-MP3-Mediafire-Free-Single
If slashing the price of your single to $0.69 and releasing a $0.99 B.O.B cut-and-paste remix does not help you sustain a #1 hit record, what should be one’s last resort?

Well, according to Katy Perry, release an acoustic version of your single, while the publicity received from your failed marriage is still scorching hot, so that people can sympathize with you and rush over to iTunes to buy your single!

Santigold Imitates M.I.A. While Dissing Lady Gaga And Katy Perry In ''Big Mouth" Video

Santigold
Santigold seems to have been watching too many M.I.A. videos because her new video for “Big Mouth” resembles elements that were seen in M.I.A.’s “Boyz”. Is this another case of the Melina-syndrome?

The animated-filled video showcases Santigold and a duo of women dancing and posing on land, planets, and underneath the sea in this colourful extravaganza. I couldn’t help but get “Rude Boy” vibes from the video as well. Rihanna is going to sue for some royalties I see…

Brandy And Monica's Duet "It All Belongs To Me" To Be Released

Brandy-Monica-It-All-Belongs-To-Me-Download-Release-Date-Single-Title
Can the duo that spawned the #1 hit single “The Boy Is Mine”, which won a Grammy in 1998, topped the Billboard Hot 100 for 13 weeks and was the best-selling song of the year,  score another R&B hit with their latest release “It All Belongs To Me”?

That is what most Brandy and Monica fans are asking themselves. It has been more than a decade since the song was released and the music landscape has drastically changed. However, on February 8, the Rico Love-produced track will be released, appearing on both Monica’s ‘New Life’ and Brandy’s new studio album.

Listen To Emeli Sandé 'Our Version Of Events' LP Sampler

It’s sad to know that the latest LP sampler of the 2012 Brits Critic’s Choice winning singer/songwriter Emeli Sandé is only 20-25 seconds long. God knows that we need music from artists of the likes of Emeli.

I can’t believe I slept on this girl and only gave her a chance thanks to a friend. I’ve been addicted to “Next To Me” ever since I heard it, with a classic Motown sound and meticulous lyrics. Her album sounds like a bag of sophisticated urban-pop songs that has enough pop elements sprinkled over them. I hear drum-and-bass, Motown, soul, folk, pop, acoustic, everything that I need right now!

Was Amy Winehouse and Adele an influence during the production of this album? If the world can hear this, I’m sure we’ll have another global superstar.

Listen to the sampler below and be amazed.

Rihanna Ooozes In Armani Jeans

Chart princess Rihanna sizzles in the new ad for Emporio Armani Jeans, frolicking on a couch in one picture while looking allure in another.  She is really reminiscing about her days as an “innocent” island gyal that was present during her ‘A Girl Like Me’ era. You can look below for another picture of my baby after the jump. She was hustling for those ad campaigns since that era and is now notorious for being on almost every magazine cover! Go Ri!

Lana Del Rey 'Born To Die' Tracklist Is Revealed

Lana Del Rey Born To Die album cover
Indie Princess Lana Del Rey finally released the tracklist of her highly-anticipated album ‘Born To Die’, which is out January 30, 2012. I was unsure of whether the tracklist was legit so I didn’t post it, but with accredited sites posting it, I concluded that it was the final tracklist.

Check below the jump to view the songs that made the album. You’ll recognize a few tracks that leaked was included on the album.

Lana Del Rey Tries Her Best On SNL

Lana Del Rey is one of the most-hyped up artists that we have experienced in years. In a span of 6 months, the much buzzed about indie princess has gone from being a struggling singer to a magazine staple, covering Billboard, Q, and the prestigious Rolling Stone, something that not even established artists have achieved.

Last night, the singer took the Saturday Night Live stage to finally break into the notorious U.S. market. Her single “Video Games” has already hit the top ten in Belgium, UK, France, and Austria, but didn’t even make a dent in the US charts (it did sell 20,000 copies thou). And I don’t think performances like these are going to help Lana.

Rihanna Selects "Talk That Talk" As Next Single

Rihanna has put the future of her latest appalling album, ‘Talk That Talk’, in the hands of her fellow navy. After receiving and counting all the votes via Facebook and Twitter, Rihanna announced that the title track “Talk That Talk” would be released.

Sitting in a squatting position, the young chart-topper is seen wearing a denim garb in the black-and-white cover. Her curly hairstyle is held together thanks to a bandana that she probably stole from a bandit, and the cigarette that was seen on the “You Da One” cover is replaced with a toothpick to deviate from any social taboo.

Chris Brown Snags Will.I.Am For Second Single

Chris Brown is making sure that he keeps those hits coming and has enlisted the help of Will.I.Am to produce and rap on the upcoming second single.

The single, “One of Those Nights”, is set to be released in a few weeks time and will surely cater to the pop audience. I’m glad that we've been given a few weeks to pack our bags because I am not ready to hear another over-produced song, drenched in buckets of autotune that would make Britney Spears sound like a pre-drugged Whitney Houston.

However, I'll reserve judgement, and if the song is as hot and trashy as "Big Fat Bass", then Chris has another classic on his hands!

Now excuse me while I go back to listening to ‘Chris Brown’ and ‘Exclusive’…

New Music: Chris Brown Featuring Kevin McCall - 'Mona Lisa'

Kevin McCall and Chris Brown
When Chris Brown announced that him and Kevin McCall would work on new music for his upcoming album, ‘Fortune’, I would have never imagined that most of the songs would feature him. Maybe I'm just looking into things to deeply?

Lana Del Rey Slays With 'National Anthem'

My anticipation for newbie Lana Del Rey’s “Born To Die” album can now be filed under “life support needed” after listening to her newly leaked track, ‘National Anthem’.

One should not confuse this song as a patriotic anthem, as the song is more non sequitur than patriotic. The song is quite different from the haunting sound we loved on 'Born To Die' or 'Video Games', replaced with a more pop-rock sound to probably kill off remarks from critics, who call her a one trick pony.

The Dream Gets Ready To "Roc" 2012 With New Music

ROC
Not even $15 million, thanks to the iconic song "Umbrella" by pop Goddess Rihanna, will stop The Dream from releasing new music! The Prince-inspired singer unveiled the artwork for his new single “Roc”, the lead single from his fourth studio album “The Love, IV: Diary Of A Madman” (to purchase this time).

Taylor Swift And Paula Fernandes Soar On 'Long Live'

Pop-country queen Taylor Swift teams up with Brazilian sertanejo and country singer Paula Fernandes on the song ‘Long Live’, off her amazing album “Speak Now: World Tour Live”.

‘Long Live’ is one of the best songs crafted by the chart topper, allowing both Taylor’s and Paula’s to distinctly sing their parts with conviction in their voices. Paula sounds as if she feels right at home on ‘Long Live’, taking her rightful place as Brazilian’s country queen and giving Taylor a run for her own golden locks.

Chris Brown Welcomed Back To The Grammy Awards

It seems that Chris Brown’s year is about to start off positively as it was announced that the singer is set to make an appearance at the 2012 Grammy Awards. This will mark the comeback singer’s first time at the prestigious award show since the 2009 domestic violence ordeal between him and ex-girlfriend Rihanna.

An anonymous source has stated that Brown has intentions of showing up at the ceremony for all three of the awards that he has been nominated for.
"Chris absolutely plans on attending the Grammys and is in talks with producers of the show to possibly perform," said the source. "Chris performed at the MTV Video Music Awards several months ago, and his performance was simply over the top as he was flying through the air like an acrobat. Chris' performance stole the show, and he would love to do something at the Grammy's to top his VMA performance."

Taylor Swift Shows Growth On 'Safe & Sound' From 'The Hunger Games'

It seems like my baby Taylor Swift is growing up too fast!

Teaming up with country-folk duo The Civil War, Taylor steps out of her comfort zone by contributing to ‘The Hunger Games’ soundtrack, an upcoming movie where children have to kill each other to survive.

Neon Hitch Returns With 'F**k U Better'

Ever since I heard ‘Bad Dog’, I lightly warmed up to robotic pop starlet Neon Hitch. The zappy bassline mixed with Ester Dean’s magical pen skills ignited into a huge pop gem thanks to Benny Blanco. The song was destined for the top of the charts, but a lack of promotion and airplay resulted in a huge chart flop. Now Hitch is trying to reclaim glory with the new single ‘F**k U Better’.

Lana Del Rey Covers 'Q' Magazine

Lana Del Rey continues to anger her legion of haters, as the vintage singer lands on the gory cover of the 'Q' Magazine's February issue. The indie pop queen sports a gushing look of a bloody Carrie, strapped with an evil demeanor lurking behind her fragile eyes.

It shows us why most of us love her – and hate her! The singer is reported to set Saturday Night Live alight on January 14, 2012, which coincides with her album “Born To Die”, which could rack in an abundant of sales, indicating a propitious career for the diva.

You can catch more blood-thirsty pictures after the jump.

Ed Sheeran Gets Impersonated On 'Lego House'

Ed Sheeran twitter
I was actually shocked when I first saw this video play on VH1 yesterday morning. I immediately assumed that Rupert Grint was one of those actors-turned-singers - and they normally end up shamelessly embarrassing themselves. Then 'Lego House' started playing and I found myself instantly hooked on the folksy song.

Rupert Grint basically plays a morbid soul, tragically depressed because of a relationship gone sour. He takes the part of posing as Ed Sheeran, only to get viciously chucked out of the building before his successfully attempts to take over the tour.
